Planning Technician

• Education: Degree in Industrial or Electronic Engineering.

• Basic knowledge of tools and programs: MRP and ERP systems, as well as advanced office tools (advanced Excel, Power BI).

• English: Intermediate level.

At Ormazabal Protection & Automation S.L.U., one of the divisions of Ormazabal, we offer an excellent professional opportunity as a Planning Technician, both due to the content and functions of the position, and due to the image and reputation of this Ormazabal division in its sector of activity. The division has established itself as a key unit within the Ormazabal structure, oriented towards the development of solutions for smart grids.

The position will be developed at the Ormazabal Digital Hub (ODH), an emblem of Ormazabal, located in building 614 of the Zamudio Technology Park. This modern Ormazabal headquarters has been designed to house the most innovative teams and cutting-edge technologies, offering a unique working environment that combines state-of-the-art facilities with a strategic location in the heart of a leading business ecosystem.

Your work as an Industrial Production Planner will be essential to guarantee the correct planning and scheduling of production, ensuring compliance with delivery deadlines, the optimization of production resources, and the maintenance of adequate inventory levels, in coordination with the Production, Logistics, and Purchasing departments:

• Scheduling of manufacturing orders based on demand, capacity, and material availability.

• Analysis of material needs and launching of procurement requests.

• Daily monitoring of planning compliance.

• Ensuring compliance with deadlines in coordination with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics.

• Management of priorities and rescheduling derived from production or commercial incidents.

• Constant updating of planning data in the ERP.

• Control of workloads and capacities of the various production resources.

• Reporting on estimated delivery dates and associated risks.

Additionally, occasionally, you will be integrated into digitalization and process automation projects, as well as into study teams for capacity expansions or industrial reorganization.
