Requirements

What we're looking for

Advanced level of Excel, with experience in lookup functions, mass data processing, pivot tables, and Power Query.

Knowledge of VBA Macros to automate tasks and optimize processes.

Knowledge of data exchange formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON.

We are looking for an analytical, organized, and meticulous person, with a high orientation to detail and the ability to manage large volumes of information accurately.

Nice to have

Valuable experience in Python (Pandas), SQL, or similar tools for data management and transformation.
Residence near the workplace is valued.

Education & certifications

Degree/Diploma in Programming, Statistics, or Administration.

The role

A company in the glass sector and laboratory product distribution is looking for a Product Data Management and Quality Specialist to work in Badalona and perform the following tasks:

What you'll do

- Structuring and cleaning data: Ensuring that names, SKUs, prices, descriptions, and item attributes follow a consistent format in Excel.

- Template automation: Creating and maintaining Macros (VBA) or simple scripts (such as Python or JavaScript) to automate file cleaning and prevent human error before importation.

- Bulk upload preparation: Generating ready-to-use files (CSV, XML, or JSON) with the exact structure required by your web system so that you only have to click import.

- Catalog auditing: Periodically reviewing that what was imported to the web matches the master databases exactly.

- Among other tasks inherent to the job position.
