📢 Industrial Mechanical Engineer - Site Manager
At Excelia, a multinational Consulting, Technology, and Professional Services firm, we are expanding our Facilities team and are looking for an Industrial Mechanical Engineer - Site Manager to lead the technical management of awarded projects, overseeing in-house teams and subcontractors across all phases of the construction work.
🚀 Your challenge
Reporting to the Facilities Area Director, you will be responsible for the direction, planning, organisation, supervision and control of construction works, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, in compliance with technical, health and safety and environmental regulations, meeting financial targets and satisfying client needs.
🧩 Roles and responsibilities
Collaboration with the studies and commercial team in the stages prior to award, where applicable.
Review and analysis of awarded projects.
Coordination with equivalent professionals from partners (joint ventures), clients and the technical management team.
Support to Management in negotiating and closing contracts for the formation of joint ventures or project execution.
Planning, monitoring and control of the construction work using management tools, with monthly production close-outs.
Preparation of final execution budgets and cost and time comparisons.
Negotiation with subcontractors and coordination of their activities.
Collaboration with other departments on matters under their responsibility.
Reporting to clients and Management on the status of each project, including management of incidents and variations.
