We are looking for a hands-on leader who combines people leadership (coaching, developing, and growing a high-performing team) with operational rigor (robust processes, cash-flow optimization, audit readiness, scalable systems) to turn a fast-moving finance function into a resilient one.

  • Reinforce the team by hiring, coaching, and developing finance professionals, building a strong bench to support the company's next stage of growth.
  • Spearhead external financial audits, empowering the team to deliver timely and compliant documentation.

  • Partner with Commercial, Marketing, and Product to build and stress-test business cases for new destinations, markets, or growth initiatives, assessing investment ROI and margin impact before roll-out.
  • Own the revenue-recognition policy for prepaid bookings - deferred revenue, cancellations, and refund liabilities - ensuring accurate recognition as trips are delivered, in line with IFRS 15.
  • Ensure compliance with travel-sector regulatory requirements (e.g., EU Package Travel Directive, bonding/insolvency-protection schemes such as ATOL in the UK) and manage the related financial guarantees and insurance.
  • Negotiate and monitor payment terms with airline, hotel, and tour-operator suppliers to optimize the cash-conversion cycle and manage supplier concentration and credit risk.
