Requirements

What we're looking for

More than 3-4 years of experience in IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) / IBM Storage Protect, version 8.1.x (essential).
Experience in storage administration with IBM SVC (essential).
Management of Storage Pools (directory, file, and LTO tapes), retention policies, and data recovery.
LAN FREE configuration, TS3500/TS3300 libraries, and TSM4VE.
Use of TDPORA, TDPSQL, and TDPHANA APIs, and TSM server upgrades.
Administration of IBM FlashSystem enclosures: flashcopies, PPRC, Volume Groups, snapshots, and enclosure upgrades.
SAN administration with Cisco switches (Brocade is a plus).
Linux and Windows systems, Shell/PowerShell scripting, integration with VMware, and Oracle and SQL Server databases.

Nice to have

English B1-B2 (valuable).

The role

What you'll do

Daily management of incidents and requests regarding the backup and storage platform through Remedy.
Maintain the platform stable and optimized, proactively detecting performance and consumption issues.
Manage configuration changes and resolve complex, high-priority incidents.
Participate in daily follow-up meetings and service status reporting.
Participate in migration projects, patching, and requirements analysis.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service and compliance with SLAs.
