For an organization to function, there is a lot of unseen technological work that is nonetheless essential: systems that must be available, backups that must run correctly, access that must be properly configured, and users who need solutions when something fails.

We are looking for an IT Systems and Support Technician to help us keep that operation under control. A person with a good technical foundation, the ability to resolve incidents, and the desire to go beyond user support by also participating in the administration and maintenance of the IT infrastructure.

Your work will combine systems administration, infrastructure monitoring, and technical support for users.

• Systems and backups: you will verify that backups are running correctly, review possible errors, keep backup tools up to date, and manage the rotation of external storage media.

• Monitoring and incidents: you will review system, network, and hardware alerts, investigate performance issues, service outages, or lack of space, and work on their resolution and documentation.

• Users and permissions: you will manage account creation, termination, and modifications in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other corporate platforms. You will also configure permissions for shared resources and help maintain correctly protected access.

• IT Support: you will handle day-to-day IT incidents, both in person and remotely, seeking effective solutions and ensuring that users can continue working normally.

• Workstations and new hires: you will prepare computers, mobile phones, peripherals, and applications for new hires and for the needs of the teams.

• Networks and communications: you will provide support for LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity, help resolve Internet access problems, and configure VPN connections and IP telephony applications.

• Maintenance and security: you will collaborate on asset inventory, hardware maintenance, and the installation of updates and security patches on servers and equipment.

You will also play an important role in incident tracking and in the documentation of tasks performed. It is not just about resolving a problem when it appears, but about leaving it well-managed and contributing to making the infrastructure work better and better.

You will be able to work with systems, security, networks, backups, and user support, gaining experience in tasks ranging from daily operations to the resolution of incidents that require greater analytical capacity.
