About the role

FCC, in its Infrastructure Area, needs to incorporate into FCC Industrial, which provides services related to industrial and energy installations, a BIM Coordinator to join large-scale industrial projects in the southern area, actively participating in coordination between construction, engineering, and BIM modeling teams during the design, construction, and project monitoring phases. The location would be Seville or Madrid. Its functions, among others, will be:

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of internal and external BIM modeling teams.
  • Act as a link between construction, technical office, engineering, and modelers to ensure that construction needs are correctly reflected in the models.
  • Actively participate in BIM coordination meetings, construction meetings, and technical meetings with clients, engineering firms, and subcontractors.
  • Manage and track issues, clashes, and multidisciplinary coordination processes.
  • Administer and keep the common data environment (CDE) updated, especially Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC – Forma).
  • Control the publication, review, and traceability of documentation, models, and BIM deliverables.
  • Prepare, maintain, and track the project's BIM planning.
  • Manage and update information management documentation such as MIDP, BEP, responsibility matrices, and BIM schedules.
  • Audit models received from engineering firms and subcontractors, verifying quality standards and compliance with project requirements.
