Requirements

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably in web application protection.
Higher Level Vocational Training (FP) in Computer Systems Administration, Networks, or equivalent degrees.
Experience in Red Hat (RHEL) systems administration, including service management, permissions, SELinux, and logs.
Practical knowledge of NGINX configuration and administration, including route management, location rules, configuration files, and secure application of changes.
Experience administering WAF solutions in production, including security policy configuration, signatures, exceptions, and alert analysis, as well as the ability to interpret declarative configurations in JSON.
Knowledge of HTTP and TLS, digital certificates, HTTP headers, proxy servers, and source IP address identification mechanisms.
Ability to analyze large volumes of logs using command-line tools and identify events, errors, and possible attacks.
Experience developing and maintaining scripts with Bash and Python 3 for production environments.
Knowledge of Git and experience performing tests and validations associated with configuration changes.
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and the National Security Framework (ENS).
Experience in controlled change procedures, maintenance windows, modification validation, and rollback plans.
Ability to document procedures, justify technical decisions, and communicate results clearly to technical teams and clients.

Experience with F5 NGINX App Protect, F5 Advanced WAF, or NGINX Plus.
Knowledge of ModSecurity and OWASP Core Rule Set (CRS).
Familiarity with CCN-STIC security guides.
Experience with Ansible or other automation and configuration management tools.
Knowledge of ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) or Grafana for the analysis and visualization of security events.

The role

If you want to develop your professional career as a WAF Cybersecurity Technician and become part of a highly qualified team, this opportunity is for you!

What you'll do

Administer and maintain WAF (Web Application Firewall) solutions, guaranteeing the protection and availability of web applications.
Monitor and analyze security events, identifying possible attacks, vulnerabilities, and false positives.
Configure and optimize security rules and policies, adapting them to the needs of each application.
Administer Linux systems and NGINX web servers, performing configuration, maintenance, and incident resolution tasks.
Develop and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to automate operational tasks and improve service efficiency.
Manage changes in production environments, performing the necessary validations to minimize risks and guarantee service continuity.
Analyze logs and web traffic to investigate incidents, detect anomalous behavior, and propose improvements.
Prepare technical documentation and reports on the actions performed and security recommendations.
Collaborate with technical and security teams in problem resolution and continuous service improvement.
