About the role

We are looking for a professional with experience in investment control and accounting to join our team and contribute to the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of the investment portfolio in an insurance and international environment.

What you'll do

  • Control and monitoring of the profit and loss account and the performance of the investment portfolio, under both local regulations and IFRS 9, analyzing its behavior against the plan and the economic context.
  • Operational analysis of the complete life cycle of the financial instruments comprising the portfolio, from acquisition to amortization or sale.
  • Monthly valuation and accounting of the investment portfolio.
  • Maintenance and updating of qualitative and quantitative information on the investment portfolio.
  • Maintenance of the ECL calculation basis and monitoring of its results.
  • Preparation of reports and reporting to provide relevant information to other areas based on the financial assets database.
  • Liaison and coordination with the Group and other regions, with the aim of aligning functions and participating in corporate strategic projects.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in investment environments within insurance companies, credit institutions, fund managers, or similar contexts (auditing, financial consulting, etc.), enabling the ability to contribute judgment, autonomy, and a mature perspective of the field.

• Ability to apply solid technical knowledge of the financial instruments that make up an insurance company's investment portfolio, understanding their behavior throughout their entire life cycle.

• Consolidated experience in investment control and reporting, actively participating in the assessment and monitoring of the profit and loss account and the portfolio balance sheet.

• Advanced level of English, necessary for regular collaboration with the parent company and other Group entities in an international environment.

• University education providing a solid foundation for understanding the financial and investment environment (Economics, Business Administration and Management, or related fields).

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, applied to the rigorous handling of financial information.

• Rigor and reliability in closing, control, and periodic reporting environments.

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks autonomously, effectively managing multiple deadlines and dependencies.

• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with local and international teams, actively contributing to a collaborative environment.

• Proactive approach oriented towards continuous improvement, contributing experience to enhance the quality of processes and information.

Nice to have

• Experience in accounting and investment management departments will be valued, as well as experience in IFRS 9 environments.

• Experience working with SAP environments will be valued.
