Requirements

What we're looking for

Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) in Analytical Laboratory and Quality Control (or consolidated experience in a similar position).
Office automation at a user level.
Competencies: organization, time management, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have

Previous experience in a laboratory/industrial environment is valued.
English is valued.

The role

At Gi Group Barcelona, we are looking for a Quality Control Technician for our client located in Badalona, to join a laboratory.

The position is a temporary cover (future maternity leave).

What you'll do

Guarantee that raw materials, work in progress, and finished products comply with technical specifications and quality standards, ensuring correct information traceability and compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.

Main duties

Perform quality controls on raw materials, work in progress, and finished products according to established procedures.
Manage the calibration, maintenance, and conservation of laboratory equipment.
Manage the quality closure and validation of manufacturing orders in SAP.
Record and archive quality control results and manufacturing orders, guaranteeing accuracy, traceability, and availability of information.
Perform analysis of wastewater from the treatment plant and record results according to legal parameters.
Execute laboratory tests for the characterization and optimization of raw materials.
Manage the inventory of laboratory consumables: forecasting needs, availability, and stock optimization.
Guarantee compliance with hygiene and safety regulations at all times.

Conditions

Location: Badalona.
Start date: Immediate
Contract type: Temporary (future maternity leave cover) + initial training.
Initial schedule: 8:00 to 17:00 (1 hour for lunch).
Subsequent shifts: morning or afternoon (to be defined).
Salary: €15.02 gross/hour.
