We are looking to hire a Supervisor for the Solutions Preparation department at Laboratorios Grifols S.A., a company within the Grifols Group dedicated to producing a wide range of non-biological products used in hospital pharmacies, surgery, clinical nutrition, fluid therapy, and products for other therapeutic uses.

Your main mission will be to plan, control, and improve the production processes of the water treatment plant, weighing, and manufacturing of intermediate products, acting and ensuring that others act in accordance with established procedures and regulations in order to meet planned production commitments and requirements with the required degree of quality and safety.

What you'll do

  • You will review the production plan daily and on a 2-week forward-looking basis.
  • You will complete a schedule of activities and equipment usage for the department.
  • You will review the condition of the facilities and report deteriorated or damaged items to maintenance.
  • You will meet with the team to identify opportunities for improvement in terms of safety and health.
  • You will conduct weekly follow-up with maintenance regarding the preventive maintenance operations to be carried out and to agree with the department head on the time slots to perform them.
  • You will follow up on the calibrations to be performed and facilitate their execution to ensure they are completed within the deadline.
  • You will investigate any deviations that may occur during processes to find their root causes.
  • You will complete all documentation related to quality notifications as required.
  • You will carry out follow-up and implementation of immediate actions and CAPAs to eliminate failures and make processes and equipment more robust.
  • You will coordinate vacation periods with the department head to ensure adequate coverage in the area.
  • You will manage and follow up on the tasks to be carried out to implement projects in the department, both minor changes to facilities as well as changes to processes and procedures.
  • You will manage the documentation related to the management of these projects (e.g., Change Controls).
