The role

Description

Grupo Barbillón is looking to bring on a First-Class Supervisor / Head Waiter for its prestigious restaurant Tinglado, located in Boadilla del Monte.

If you are a professional passionate about hospitality, with solid experience in dining room management and a firm commitment to service excellence, this is your opportunity! We are looking for someone proactive, personable, and capable of leading teams, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Main Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily dining room operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality service.
Manage and lead the waitstaff team, assigning tasks, providing ongoing training, and fostering a positive work environment.
Personally attend to customers, resolving questions, managing reservations, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Control dining room supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations.
Oversee proper dining room presentation and maintain order.
Resolve incidents or customer complaints effectively and professionally.
Collaborate closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth coordination.
Stay up to date on industry trends and new items on our menu.
Ensure proper implementation of Grupo Barbillón quality standards.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience of at least 2 years as a First-Class Supervisor / Head Waiter, Maître d', or similar role in restaurants.
Residence in Boadilla del Monte or nearby towns to facilitate onboarding and attendance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in dynamic environments.
Strong customer focus and a genuine service vocation.
Solid knowledge of service protocols, wines, and food pairings.
Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Language skills will be positively valued.
Previous experience in dining room service.
Passion for gastronomy and a desire to contribute new ideas.
Versatile profile.
Ability to work as a team and good energy.
Availability for rotating shifts.
A sense of humor and a love for good food.
