Requirements

What we're looking for

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Double Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

- Solid knowledge of fluid mechanics and fundamentals of aerodynamics.

- Practical experience with ANSYS Fluent, having performed CFD simulations during university training or in previous projects.

At GRUPO CRIT ETT, we are selecting a Mechanical Engineer or a profile with a Double Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering for a major technological engineering company located in La Carolina (Jaén), specialized in the development of testing solutions and systems for the aerospace and industrial sectors.

We are looking for a person with solid knowledge of fluid mechanics and practical experience in CFD simulations using ANSYS Fluent, who wants to participate in advanced engineering projects, performing compressible flow simulations and analyzing fluid behavior under demanding operating conditions, including supersonic speeds.

What you'll do

Duties:

- Performing CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations using ANSYS Fluent.

- Modeling and analyzing fluid behavior under different flow conditions.

- Preparation of geometric models and configuration of numerical simulations.

- Definition of boundary conditions, material properties, and calculation parameters.

- Analysis and interpretation of results to evaluate fluid behavior.

- Development of compressible and supersonic flow simulations, including operating conditions at Mach 2 speeds.

- Preparation of technical reports and documentation of the results obtained.

- Collaboration with the engineering team in the development and validation of technical solutions.

Minimum requirements

- Knowledge of compressible flows, high-speed aerodynamics, and supersonic conditions will be especially valued.
