Education: Higher Level Vocational Training (FP) in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, or similar.
Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of consolidated experience in industrial production environments (background in the paper/cardboard sector is highly valued).
Hard Skills / Tools: Advanced mastery of mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, and welding. Knowledge of CAE management and occupational safety regulations. Office automation level for budget management.
Soft Skills: Pragmatic and decisive profile, high capacity for autonomy, safety culture, and strategic vision for plant adaptation.

What you'll get

Salary range: €35,000 - €38,000 gross per year, adjustable based on the candidate's technical fit and experience.
Work model: 100% on-site in a central shift schedule (09:00 to 18:00h with 1h break), opting for work-life balance over rotating shifts. Stability in an environment in the midst of a growth and technical advancement process.

The role

From Grupo Crit and Hi Talent, we are selecting a Lead Electromechanical Technician for a solid company in the paper and cardboard sector located in Montornès del Vallès.

This role is designed for a highly operational ("hands-on") profile seeking to take the leap towards the technical responsibility of a plant. You will be the main point of reference to guarantee the efficiency of the cutting machinery and facilities, assuming 90% direct technical execution at the machine and 10% strategic management linked to safety regulations and third-party supervision.

What you'll do

Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of cutting machinery (replacement of bearings, belts, compressors, photocells, and suction systems).
Diagnose and resolve critical mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic incidents, minimizing production downtime.
Apply welding techniques for technical adaptations and infrastructure repairs.
Lead the technical and economic management with external industrial suppliers for new installations.
Guarantee strict regulatory compliance in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL), with a special focus on fire risk, and coordinate CAE documentation.
