The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

Previous experience in production planning, procurement, or supply chain within industrial environments.
Knowledge of SAP applied to production planning and management.
Ability to coordinate teams and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work transversally with different departments.

Analytical capacity and ability to resolve operational incidents.
Availability to carry out their activity on-site at the plant.

The role

We are looking for a Planning Manager to guarantee the correct supply of materials and the planning of manufacturing in the short and medium term. The selected person will assume the management of a small team, driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Lead and coordinate procurement and production planning activities.
Maintain constant communication with the purchasing department to guarantee the availability of materials.
Plan production with an approximate horizon of five weeks, adapting plans according to operational needs.
Release manufacturing orders and manage production planning through SAP.
Coordinate transversally with the production, purchasing, and commercial teams.
Perform adjustments and monitoring of the planning to ensure compliance with operational objectives.
Supervise and develop a team of six people within the procurement area.
Ensure a close presence to the daily plant operations, acting as a point of reference for the involved areas.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes and service levels.
