The role

At Enrique Tomás we are looking to hire a Food Safety intern to join our Quality and Food Safety team.

What you'll do

During your internship, with the guidance of your tutor, you will participate in different projects and tasks related to food safety:

  • Self-control systems (HACCP): support in the maintenance and updating of HACCP plans and the review of temperature, cleaning, traceability, and other control records.

  • Allergen management: preparation and updating of allergen tables, verification of information available at points of sale, and monitoring of potential cross-contamination incidents.

  • Regulations and labeling: review of product labeling and mandatory mentions, as well as updating technical documentation.

  • Internal audits: support in the preparation and execution of audits in stores, preparation of reports, and monitoring of corrective actions.

  • Health inspections: collaboration in the preparation of documentation and monitoring of actions following inspections by competent authorities.

  • Supplier management: review of certificates, technical data sheets, supplier analysis and documentation, as well as monitoring of incidents.

  • Store support: resolution of queries related to hygiene and food safety and support in staff training.
