What you'll do
- Wash and dry hotel linens (curtains, cushions, crib bedding, pillowcases, bedspreads, and blankets) for manual and automatic ironing.
- Sort and count the hotel's soiled linen.
- Receive clean linen from external laundry and weigh it.
- Organize cleaning orders.
- Inform your supervisor of any deficiencies observed during your work, as well as any deficiencies in staff uniforms.
- Participate in the control and maintenance of the product warehouse and the linen warehouse.
- Perform simple sewing repairs on garments, by hand or machine, to rectify defects.
- Operate washing machines and dryers and record the kg. washed per day (Logbook).
