Site Manager for railway track works

Grupo Ortiz is looking to add to its team a Site Manager with specific experience in railway track works for a project in Castejón.

The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineer, or equivalent, with at least 3 years of demonstrable experience in the execution and management of railway construction works.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan the execution of railway construction works, coordinating human resources, materials, and equipment.
• Supervise the correct execution of projects according to plans, specifications, and technical regulations.
• Control performance, costs, and deadlines, ensuring compliance with established objectives.
• Direct and coordinate the technical and operational staff assigned to the site.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers involved in the execution.
• Prepare measurements, certifications, and technical follow-up documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental requirements.
• Maintain communication with the client, the technical management, and the relevant railway authorities.
• Periodically report on the progress of the works to the Group Manager or Production Management.
• Propose technical solutions for unforeseen events or deviations detected during execution.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the execution and management of railway construction works.
• Knowledge: Railway regulations, construction planning, cost control, occupational health and safety (PRL), and quality management.
• Skills: Leadership, organization, results-oriented mindset, problem-solving ability, and effective communication.

El candidato/a ideal será un/a Ingeniero/a Civil, de Caminos y Puertos o equivalente con al menos 3 años de experiencia demostrable en la ejecución y dirección de obras ferroviarias.

RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES

• Planificar la ejecución de los trabajos de obra ferroviaria, coordinando recursos humanos, materiales y equipos.
• Supervisar la correcta ejecución de los proyectos conforme a planos, especificaciones y normativa técnica.
• Controlar los rendimientos, costes y plazos, asegurando el cumplimiento de los objetivos establecidos.
• Dirigir y coordinar al personal técnico y operativo asignado a la obra.
• Gestionar las subcontratas y proveedores implicados en la ejecución.
• Elaborar mediciones, certificaciones y documentación técnica de seguimiento.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento de la normativa de seguridad y salud laboral, y de los requisitos medioambientales.
• Mantener la comunicación con el cliente, la dirección facultativa y las entidades ferroviarias competentes.
• Informar periódicamente al Jefe de Grupo o Dirección de Producción sobre el avance de los trabajos.
• Proponer soluciones técnicas ante imprevistos o desviaciones detectadas en la ejecución.

REQUISITOS

• Formación: Ingeniería Civil, de Caminos, Canales y Puertos o equivalente.
• Experiencia mínima: 3 años en ejecución y dirección de obras ferroviarias.
• Conocimientos: normativa ferroviaria, planificación de obras, control de costes, PRL y gestión de calidad.
• Competencias: liderazgo, organización, orientación a resultados, capacidad de resolución y comunicación efectiva.
