About the role

At Grupo Planeta, we are looking for a Professional Careers Manager for our Planeta Formación y Universidades division.

You will lead the execution of the CDC's Strategic Employability Model, ensuring an excellent experience for students throughout their professional journey. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the service methodology, leading the team of Career Advisors, and transforming the strategy defined by Management into an efficient, scalable, results-oriented operating model.

What would your main duties be?

  • Lead and develop the team of Career Advisors, setting objectives, monitoring performance, and fostering a culture of student orientation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the quality of the Employability Model, ensuring the correct implementation of the model, the quality of advising services, and a consistent experience across all modalities and stages of the student journey.
  • Drive a high-value student experience, monitoring satisfaction, identifying personalization opportunities, and leading continuous improvement plans.
  • Manage the area through metrics, overseeing operational, employability, and satisfaction KPIs, analyzing results, and driving corrective actions when necessary.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement, participating in the design of new methodologies, tools, and artificial intelligence projects applied to the service.
  • Coordinate with the institution's main departments (Development and Impact, Business Relations, Admissions, Student Experience, Alumni, and Academic) to ensure an integrated and aligned student experience.

What we're looking for

What would we like to see on your CV?

  • University education in Psychology, Pedagogy, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related fields; a Master's in People Management, Coaching, HR, Higher Education, or Service Management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employability, career guidance, talent development, or higher education, and at least 3 years leading teams.
  • Experience in designing and managing student-oriented services; participation in process transformation and continuous improvement projects is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of career guidance, career coaching, the labor market, service design, customer journey, change management, and KPI analysis.
  • Proficiency in digital employability tools (e.g., CareerOS, JobTeaser, Highered, or LinkedIn) and Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and artificial intelligence applied to improving services and the student experience is a plus.
