Retail Logistics Operations Manager

We are looking for a senior technical profile with a strong business orientation, responsible for translating technical and economic analysis into clear, prioritized, and executable decisions.

Education

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Technical, or similar)

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years in technical positions of responsibility with economic control.
• Leading senior technical teams.
• In demanding industrial or logistics environments (automotive, JIT, etc.).

Required knowledge for the position

• Advanced Excel is essential (data analysis, economic control, KPIs).
• Budget management and financial analysis.
• Ability to understand and evaluate technical analyses and processes.
• Proficiency in Office and ERPs (Navision is a plus).
• English level B2 or higher.

• High analytical capacity and results-oriented.
• Technical and economic authority to make decisions.
• Ability to manage tension and conflict with the client and the team.
• Demanding, structured, and coherent leadership.
• Organization, planning, and prioritization.
• Clear, direct, and well-reasoned communication.

We are currently looking for a logistics center manager profile for the retail sector for one of our operations in Torrejón de Ardoz.

The mission of the position is to guarantee the economic profitability, technical control, and operational excellence of the project, managing the center and leading highly specialized technical teams. The position acts as the highest technical and economic authority of the project and as a solid point of contact with the client.

To achieve this, your main responsibilities will be:

• Managing and coordinating the overall activity of the center/project, ensuring results, quality, and service.
• Guaranteeing the profitability of the operating account and compliance with the budget.
• Preparing, analyzing, and controlling budgets, costs, margins, and variances.
• Analyzing economic, technical, and operational KPIs, defining corrective action plans.
• Using advanced Excel as a key tool for control, analysis, and decision-making.
• Leading technical and operational teams across multiple shifts, setting priorities and clear criteria.
• Guiding the team in technical analysis and complex problem-solving.
• Enforcing compliance with deadlines, standards, processes, and quality.
• Acting as the technical and economic point of contact with the client, managing incidents, audits, and claims.
• Managing client expectations and setting boundaries when necessary.
• Collaborating with other departments for the development of the center and continuous improvement.
