What are we looking for?

· Higher Degree or Bachelor's preferably in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering.

· Experience in the functioning of the various departments of Iberdrola.

· Knowledge/Experience in the operation of generation facilities: Hydro, wind, photovoltaic, and BESS.

· Knowledge of cybersecurity management frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO27000, IEC62443, etc.)

  • Technical experience in the operation and evolution of SIEM platforms, especially IBM QRadar, FortiSIEM, Splunk, or equivalent solutions, including event analysis and the improvement of detection capabilities.

Nice to have

· A Master's degree or specialized training in Cybersecurity, especially with an orientation toward industrial systems and OT environments, will be valued.

Other valuable requirements

  • Experience in the design and development of cybersecurity projects, preferably in industrial environments.
  • Knowledge or experience in the design of control and telecontrol architectures.
  • Practical knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK for ICS and its application to threat analysis and the development of detection use cases.
  • Experience in the preparation and execution of incident response procedures on SIEM platforms and OT monitoring tools.

What you'll do

· The Cybersecurity Expert's mission is the proper management of cybersecurity risks, guaranteeing the maximum security and availability of generation assets, which directly impacts Business results, thereby contributing to the operational results of the Renewables Division.

  • Plan and ensure the implementation of necessary Cybersecurity measures and action plans in IESE to respond to Iberdrola's Cybersecurity Policies and the requirements applicable to critical infrastructures.
  • Guarantee the best possible technical support and technological updates in the field of Cybersecurity for the different organizations, serving the needs of Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructures.
  • Supervise and evolve the Business's cybersecurity monitoring capabilities, ensuring the detection and analysis of events and threats that could affect generation OT environments.
  • Incorporate threat intelligence into monitoring and response processes, contextualizing indicators and attack techniques based on the specific assets, technologies, and risks of the generation business.
