The role

At IDDTEK, we are looking to incorporate a civil engineer into our industrial plants and infrastructure unit, with a desire to learn and the ability to solve problems.

What you'll do

The selected person will perform the following functions within the team:

●Provide technical support to the site from the Bilbao office, addressing inquiries and collaborating on the resolution of incidents.

●Review and interpret plans and technical documentation for civil works and piping, detecting errors, interferences, or pending information.

●Support coordination between disciplines, especially at the interfaces between foundations, structures, underground networks, and piping.

●Prepare technical inquiries and follow up on responses, in contact with engineering and the site team in Sweden.

●Perform basic measurements and checks, such as quantities of work, levels, layouts, and slopes, under supervision.

●Update plans, lists, and documentation to incorporate changes and keep site information up to date.

●Participate in progress meetings in English and collaborate in the preparation of progress reports and pending matters.

●Propose solutions to technical problems, with the guidance of more experienced engineers.
