Education

• Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Technical Architecture, or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial construction supervision, with verifiable experience in operating plants.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in plants built or operating under Repsol, SK, or equivalent specifications.
• Advanced computer skills at a user level, especially Microsoft 365.

• Experience in advanced Excel, Power BI, SAP, MS Project, Therefore, OpenPlant, AutoCAD, Navisworks, MicroStation, or other applicable tools will be valued. Knowledge of AI tools.

We are currently looking for a SUPERVISION COORDINATOR to join a major company in the industrial sector, in Cartagena.

• Perform the functions typical of a supervisor and coordinate all service supervisors.
• Support the PMC Coordinator by orienting construction resources toward schedule, cost, safety, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate different disciplines within the same project and across all projects in the construction phase.
• Optimize resources and reduce indirect costs, such as scaffolding, cranes, auxiliary means, and work windows.
• Verify the suitability of technical specifications for the contracting of works specific to their specialty, prepared by the detailed engineering team.
• Schedule the specialties of each investment together with the project engineers.
• Coordinate the definition of execution windows with Production, Planning, Maintenance, IT, and other affected departments.
• Coordinate shutdown works according to available windows.
• Coordinate construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning protocols before delivery to the requester.
• Evaluate the contractors involved in the tasks they supervise, participating in the classification process of contracting companies.
• Perform detailed engineering verification activities and dimensional checks for projects.
• Verify on-site the works executed in relation to those projected, and verify red-marking and as-built documentation.
• Management and supervision of quality dossiers for construction contracts, and performing red-marking to obtain a real engineering document with reference to what was built.
• Manage construction deficiencies and follow up on closures.
• Implementation of the SIP (Skills Improvement Project) procedure for the evaluation of personnel with plant access in assembly contracts.
• If necessary, attendance at FAT tests for the verification of equipment or system purchases. If the FAT tests were in locations that required travel other than a round trip on the same day, the expenses incurred would be considered Reimbursable Expenses separate from the service, with the corresponding justifications (hotel invoice, per diems, etc.).
