What we're looking for

About you:

Ability to help our customers with their specific needs to ensure a satisfactory experience.
Passion for FOOD and customer service.
Confidence when addressing and communicating with people, in a polite, friendly, and motivating manner.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Nice to have

Previous experience in the restaurant and/or fast food areas is valued.
Valuable knowledge of food safety standards, compliance requirements, and local food legislation.

The role

What you'll do

We want to attract and encourage visitors and customers in the IKEA store to stay longer and enjoy themselves, making their visit more entertaining by offering good quality food at low prices, always giving them a tasty reason to come back again and again. Provide co-workers with an opportunity to rest and enjoy healthy, tasty food.

Take action to optimize sales and inspire.

Ensure the area is clean, commercial, tidy, attractive, and welcoming.

Also ensure that our products are in perfect condition and have the right price at all times.

Show passion for the food we serve and sell, and actively learn about it and share knowledge with customers and co-workers.

Detect customer needs and take action based on that information, continuously improving their experience in IKEA FOOD, and motivating the rest of the store to do the same.

Thanks to us, customers, co-workers and people at home can have a better everyday life through food that's good for both people and planet.
