THE POSITION

We are looking for talented, passionate people who excel at hands-on work and practical tasks to join our team. As a Campervan Maintenance Technician, you will be part of our team in Bilbao and will work with the Western Europe Regional Team; your main responsibility will be to ensure our campervans are always in perfect maintenance condition and in the best possible state, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to a smooth and efficient experience for our customers.

This role is essential to keeping our campervan fleet at the highest quality standards, enabling our customers to embark on unforgettable trips. If you enjoy hands-on work, like solving mechanical problems, want to make an immediate impact on our goals, and are motivated to be part of a team with a clear mission, we invite you to bring your expertise to our organization.

What you'll do

Reporting directly to the local manager, you will play an active role in the daily operations of the depot, carrying out tasks such as:

  • Preparing vehicles and equipment for customers;
  • Assisting with the management of incoming reservations, welcoming guests, and handling check-ins and check-outs;
  • Receiving and collecting shipments and supplies, organizing them in storage areas, and recording item usage and new orders.

Beyond daily depot operations, you will also be responsible for the technical maintenance of our fleet, specifically:

  • Performing routine vehicle inspections and identifying issues in mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems;
  • Carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks on campervans and motorhomes, including:
    • Preventive and corrective maintenance;
    • Minor repairs and replacement of parts (bulbs, windows, mirrors);
    • Diagnosis and repair of campervan appliances and accessories;
  • Maintaining, developing, and coordinating vehicle interventions with external suppliers and regional teams;
  • Keeping all vehicle records and information systems up to date according to established procedures;
  • Moving campervans to and from suppliers, parking facilities, or other depots as needed;
  • Keeping the depot, equipment, and spare parts organized and in good condition, and managing the spare parts inventory.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Candidates with proven experience in practical mechanical and electrical repairs - campervan experience is a plus;
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training will be valued);
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory);
  • Eligibility to work in Spain, a valid driver's license, and confidence driving a campervan (mandatory);
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays.

THE INDIE COMMITMENT

  • Be part of a young, innovative, and fast-growing company where your work makes a difference;

  • Professional development opportunities in Field Operations and the possibility of transitioning to our offices in Lisbon, Mexico City, or Manila;
