Senior Engineering Project Manager - Air Defense

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager for our Air Defense business unit, with experience in Radar and IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) systems, to lead projects of high technological and operational complexity.

💡 What will you do?

You will be responsible for the overall management of defense projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and acting as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and industrial partners.

Among your main functions will be:

• Management and monitoring of Radar and IFF system projects.
• Direct liaison with national and international clients, mainly in the military and defense sector.
• Coordination of engineering, quality, production, and logistics teams.
• Technical monitoring of compliance with contractual requirements and commitments.
• Management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversight of the progress of manufacturing, integration, testing, and system delivery.
• Economic management of projects:
  • Budgets
  • Costs
  • Invoicing
  • Quotes and proposals
  • Financial monitoring
• Risk management, planning, and achievement of milestones.
• Support for business development and new commercial opportunities.

• University degree in Engineering (Telecommunications, Industrial, Aerospace, or related fields).
• Solid experience in managing complex technological projects.
• Knowledge of Radar and/or IFF systems. Experience working with military clients or in the defense sector.
• Management of suppliers and subcontracting.
• Experience in economic and contractual project management.
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
• Leadership and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams.

Serás responsable de la gestión integral de proyectos de defensa, liderando equipos multidisciplinares y actuando como punto de contacto principal con clientes, proveedores y socios industriales.

Entre tus principales funciones estarán:

• Dirección y seguimiento de proyectos de sistemas Radar e IFF.
• Interlocución directa con clientes nacionales e internacionales, principalmente del ámbito militar y defensa.
• Coordinación de equipos de ingeniería, calidad, producción y logística.
• Seguimiento técnico del cumplimiento de requisitos y compromisos contractuales.
• Gestión de subcontratistas y suministradores.
• Supervisión del avance de fabricación, integración, pruebas y entrega de sistemas.
• Gestión económica de los proyectos:
  • Presupuestos
  • Costes
  • Facturación
  • Ofertas y propuestas
  • Seguimiento financiero
• Gestión de riesgos, planificación y cumplimiento de hitos.
• Soporte al desarrollo de negocio y nuevas oportunidades comerciales.
