Coordinate own and subcontracted resources with the objective of ensuring that works are carried out according to the specifications of the work plan and the guidelines of the Site Manager, ensuring site safety at all times, and ensuring results in quality and deadlines.

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

PLANNING

• Participate with the Site Manager/Production Manager in the preparation of the work plan.
• Understand the objectives of the execution of the works, plan your own work and that of the foremen and operators under your charge, evaluate the progress made according to the planning, and take actions aimed at correcting possible deviations from your objectives.

EXECUTION AND CONTROL

• Perform and/or verify site layout/staking of work areas, and supervise and control the execution of site work areas and resolve specific incidents on site.
• Execute the safety and environmental plan in accordance with the work plan.
• Control the reception of human and material equipment on site, coordinate human teams (own and subcontractors), and keep track of hours worked.

COORDINATION AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

• Control stocks and take responsibility for the reception, as established in the Integral Management Plan, of acquired materials, including inspections and tests to be carried out, the review of supplier certificates, the applicable Technical Specifications with their acceptance criteria, the frequency of controls and sampling plans, as well as the performance of IPSI for compliance with Environmental Legal Requirements.
• Coordinate the work areas to be executed and support and cooperate in complex site interventions.
• Coordinate site safety (preventive resources).

COMMERCIAL

• Manage and negotiate the certifications received by subcontractors and trades on site, and manage and negotiate the monthly certification with the site management.
• Hold as many site meetings as necessary with management and with the owner in order to satisfy the final client (investor, administrations, public companies,...).
• Act as a salesperson for the acquisition of new construction, renovation, or new work areas within the same project.

TRANSVERSAL FUNCTIONS

TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Ensure that they have the right people in their area, committed and competent, promoting their integration, training, development, and recognition, with an optimal implementation of people management processes (selection, onboarding, training, evaluation,...) in collaboration with the HR Area.

RULES AND PROCEDURES

• Ensure that all activities, works, and operations are carried out in accordance with the quality, safety and health, sustainability, waste management and environment rules, procedures, and instructions, and the rest of the current regulations and legislation.
