Engineering Manager - Energy Projects

• Education and Experience:
  • Degree or Master's in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering projects.
  • Experience mainly oriented towards Power projects and the energy sector.
  • Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of the complete project lifecycle, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Processes.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Experience in engineering hour and resource planning.
  • Ability to perform technical, economic, and planning monitoring of engineering activities.
  • Knowledge of Procurement processes, requisitions, tabulations, and the award of equipment and services.
  • Experience in managing scope changes and evaluating their technical impact and impact on engineering hours.
  • Knowledge of P&IDs review processes, 3D models, and multidisciplinary technical studies.
  • Knowledge of HSE, QA/QC, HAZOP, and SIL applied to engineering projects.
  • C1 English level.
  • Availability for international mobility and travel to project sites when necessary.

Job Offer: Engineering Manager - Energy Projects

At Grupo INVOIN, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to join important international projects in the energy sector on a permanent basis. The selected person will be responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating the engineering team assigned to the project, ensuring contractual compliance in terms of technical quality, deadlines, costs, and resources.

We are looking for a senior profile with experience mainly in Power projects, a comprehensive vision of the project lifecycle, and the ability to coordinate different engineering disciplines both from the office and, when necessary, during the execution phase on-site.

• Lead, manage, and coordinate the Engineering team assigned to the project, ensuring contract compliance within their area of responsibility.
• Coordinate the heads of the different engineering disciplines, ensuring the technical quality, deadlines, and costs of the work and deliverables.
• Lead the preparation of the project Engineering Plan and monitor its compliance.
• Guarantee the integrity of the engineering design and the correct application of procedures, specifications, standards, and HSE, QA, and QC requirements.
• Participate in technical meetings with the client to review engineering activities and deliverables.
• Supervise the technical review of elements such as P&IDs, designs, 3D models, underground systems, passive protection, and HSE studies such as HAZOP and SIL.
• Lead engineering consistency analyses and guarantee the implementation of Value Improvement and Constructability initiatives.
• Supervise the content and scope of requisitions, tabulations, award recommendations, and purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services.
• Channel and control technical clarifications made to the client, licensors, and suppliers regarding the project engineering.
• Analyze the technical scope and hours associated with project changes, evaluating change notifications proposed by the various disciplines.
• Lead and consolidate periodic progress reports and closing reports related to engineering activities.
• Manage the hour budget and global engineering resources, both internal and subcontracted.
• Coordinate with Construction, Procurement, Processes, and other project areas to ensure integrated and coherent execution.
