Specialist Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a profile with experience in Medium and Low Voltage electrical installations, preparation of technical documentation, and participation in multidisciplinary power generation projects.

• Education and Experience:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering with a specialty in Energy, or equivalent qualification.
  • A Master's in Electrical Engineering will be valued.
  • Experience in the design of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical installations for power generation projects.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Experience in the preparation of technical specifications, data sheets, and electrical documentation.
  • Knowledge of single-line diagrams, protection, and measurement.
  • Experience in the preparation of cable schedules, load lists, and materials.
  • Knowledge of technical procurement processes, requisitions, and bid evaluation.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering tools such as ETAP, SKM Power Tools, SmartElectrical, or similar will be valued.
  • High level of English.

At Grupo INVOIN, we are looking for a Specialist Electrical Engineer - Power Projects to join an important project in the energy sector. The selected person will participate in the development of the electrical engineering associated with power generation projects, providing support in design, preparation of technical documentation, procurement management, and coordination with suppliers.

• Prepare technical specifications and data sheets for electrical equipment.
• Develop single-line diagrams and protection and measurement diagrams.
• Prepare cable schedules, load lists, and electrical material computations.
• Manage purchase orders for electrical equipment and materials.
• Prepare requests for quotation and participate in the technical evaluation of supplier proposals.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and review supplier documentation and drawings.
• Provide support for inspection activities and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Provide technical support on-site when necessary.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the department through the application of lessons learned and best practices.
• Participate in value engineering initiatives and identification of training needs.
• Report to the Electrical Project Leader and/or the Senior Electrical Engineer.

• Initial 9-month temporary contract, with the possibility of continuity through permanent employment.
