The role

KAVE is a global brand in furniture and home decor design, dedicated to inspiring unique and unconventional people like us.

The furniture and decoration industry is one of the largest retail industries worldwide. The potential is enormous and we aim high. We are a group of more than 1,100 international, talented, and motivated professionals, with the mission to completely transform the experience from design to customer, offering sustainable designs, excellent value for money, and a top-tier omnichannel shopping experience.

We are looking for an AI Automation Lead (BPA) to lead our Business Process Automation team and drive the transformation of how we work through Artificial Intelligence, automation, and process redesign.

This role will be key to identifying and transforming improvement opportunities into solutions that generate efficiency, productivity, and scalability, combining business vision and technical leadership. You will act as a bridge between business, BPM, technology, and architecture, ensuring robust, secure, sustainable solutions with measurable impact.

What you'll do

  • Work transversally with business and BPM teams to understand their challenges, question current processes, and proactively identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and AI application, turning them into solutions with a real impact on efficiency and productivity.

  • Drive the redesign and simplification of processes before their automation, avoiding the transfer of existing inefficiencies to new technological solutions.

  • Manage and prioritize the portfolio of automation and AI initiatives based on their expected impact, feasibility, technical complexity, scalability, and potential for reuse.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the BPA team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, autonomy, and continuous improvement.

  • Design and implement advanced automation and Artificial Intelligence solutions, including the integration of LLMs and the design, development, and orchestration of AI agents integrated into business processes.

  • Extend the capabilities of Low-Code/No-Code platforms through custom developments when necessary, combining automation, AI, and development to solve higher complexity needs.

  • Act as the technical reference for the team, defining and applying best practices for SDLC, testing, observability, maintenance, and quality, ensuring scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Architecture teams to design robust and reliable integrations between systems, applications, and data sources, aligned with corporate architecture and governance.

  • Identify reusable automation solutions, components, and patterns, promoting their standardization and scaling to other areas of the company.

  • Measure the value generated by implemented solutions through indicators such as capacity released, reduction in cycle times, decrease in errors, adoption, and productivity improvement, using these results to decide which solutions to evolve, scale, or rethink.

Requirements

  • Consolidated experience designing and implementing automation and process integration solutions. We currently work with n8n, so knowledge of it will be a great plus. Experience with Make, Zapier, Power Platform, or similar technologies will also be valued.

  • Hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence applied to business processes, including LLMs, AI agents, and their integration within workflows and applications.

  • Proficiency in programming or scripting languages to develop and extend automation solutions. Python is the preferred language, although experience with JavaScript or other languages will be valued.

  • Solid knowledge of integration architecture, APIs, authentication, data management and orchestration, as well as development best practices such as Git, CI/CD, and testing.

  • Demonstrable experience leading and developing technical teams and managing technological initiatives with transversal impact.

  • Ability to combine business vision and technical judgment, understanding complex problems and converting them into simple, scalable, and sustainable solutions.

  • Ability to prioritize based on impact and generated value, make technical decisions, and manage a portfolio of initiatives with different levels of complexity.

  • High capacity for communication and empathy to work with technical and non-technical profiles, constructively questioning how we do things and managing expectations.

  • Product and continuous improvement mindset, with an orientation toward measuring results, learning from solution adoption, and scaling them when they demonstrate impact.

  • Advanced level of English.
