What we're looking for

Consolidated experience as a Solutions Architect, with at least 5 years of experience in architecture.
Demonstrated experience in the design of solutions within one of the following domains: integration, data, applications, cloud, or mainframe.
Knowledge of hybrid technological environments, combining cloud platforms, on-premise infrastructures, and legacy systems.
Experience in API design and integration strategies between systems.
Knowledge of architectural patterns such as microservices, event-driven, API-first, CQRS, and Saga.
Ability to incorporate non-functional requirements into the design, including performance, scalability, resilience, and security.
Experience in data modeling, persistence, and information flow design.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
Communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business areas.
End-to-end vision and ability to understand the impact of architectural decisions on the overall solution.
Flexibility to work in different business domains depending on the assigned vertical.

Nice to have

Valuable experience in banking or financial environments and knowledge of associated regulatory requirements.

The role

We are knowmad mood! Solutions Architect

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to design end-to-end technological solutions that respond to the needs of different business areas, guaranteeing their alignment with corporate standards and their viability within the organization's technological ecosystem. You will be a key piece at the intersection of business and technology, participating in the design, governance, and evolution of solutions, considering all their components: applications, integration, data, infrastructure, and security.

What you'll do

Design end-to-end technological solutions aligned with the requirements of different business verticals.
Define and document architectures that guarantee performance, scalability, resilience, and security.
Design the data layer of the solutions, including modeling, persistence, and information flows.
Define integration strategies through APIs and modern service-oriented architectures.
Participate in architectural governance processes and in technological decision-making.
Accompany teams during the construction phase, ensuring the correct implementation of the designed solution.
Resolve complex technical problems and guarantee consistency between the defined architecture and the built solution.
Evaluate technological alternatives and justify decisions with technical and business criteria.

How you'll work

📍 Remote (occasional in-person presence in Madrid) | knowmad mood

Work model: Remote (Occasional in-person presence in Madrid)
Flexible hours ⏰: flexible schedule with entry at 8:30 AM and exit at 6:00 PM, with intensive working hours on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and intensive working hours in summer (July and August) from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Vacation 🌴: 22 vacation days + 2 personal days, plus December 24 and 31 off.
