Requirements

What we're looking for

5 years of experience in solution design and application architecture.
Development in Java (Spring/SpringBoot).
Design of APIs and events with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures (EDA) with Kafka/Confluent.
Experience in cloud architecture and development (AWS and/or Azure).
Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestrators (Kubernetes).
Relational databases (Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
Security knowledge (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and identity management (Microsoft Entra ID, Okta).
Knowledge of observability tools such as Dynatrace.
Version control and automation with GitHub / GitHub Actions.
Technical education in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
English level B2.
Availability to travel.

Nice to have

Technical certifications (Java Architect, Cloud Solution Architect...).
Experience in insurance solutions or similar enterprise architectures.

What you'll do

Lead the architectural design in international implementations, assessing each country's technical environment and defining the target architecture.
Design and deploy integration solutions using Synchronous patterns (APIs) and Asynchronous patterns (Events).
Participate in the technological evolution of Reef and in the design and implementation of cross-cutting architectural components.
Optimize the current architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, and availability.
Provide advanced technical support as an architecture reference for implementation and evolution projects.
Participate in the diagnosis and resolution of complex incidents.
Promote and advocate for the Reef architecture across development and project teams.
