What we're looking for

At least 3 years of prior experience in M&A is required.
Education: Degree in Business Administration/Business Administration and Law, Engineering, or similar.
Very high level of English.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Solid financial knowledge (company valuation methods, financial statements, etc.).

Nice to have

Experience in financial sector transactions (banks, insurers, asset managers, insurance brokers, servicers, FinTechs, etc.) will be positively valued.
A Master's in Finance, pursuing or having obtained the CFA, or other postgraduate financial education will be valued.

The role

As an Associate in this team, you will work with professionals specialized in M&A and financial advisory within the financial institutions sector (banks, insurers, asset managers, insurance brokers, servicers, FinTechs, etc.). You will work in the sector executing buy-side and sell-side mandates, playing a leading role in the day-to-day execution of transactions, including the preparation of marketing materials, valuations, and other information/presentations for clients. You will work as part of the team under the supervision of the most senior team members (Managers and Partners).

What you'll do

Preparation of commercial presentations for clients (pitches) and follow-up on their activity.
Preparation of the marketing materials required in an M&A process (Teaser, Information Memorandum, Management Presentations, Financial Model, etc.).
Interaction with clients and counterparties involved in transactions (potential investors, advisors, etc.).
Valuation of companies according to commonly accepted methodologies across different subsectors (DDM, DCF, multiples, etc.).
Preparation of financial models of companies in the financial sector.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and within a growing team.
