What we're looking for

Education: Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, other Engineering degrees are valued, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.
Previous experience of at least 6 years, with special consideration given to previous experience in strategic consulting, operations, transformation, or value creation.
Previous experience in team management.
A high level of English is essential (C1-C2).
Availability to travel nationally and internationally according to client needs.

The role

Strategy & Value Creation is KPMG's market leader in Spain in strategic consulting, counting among our clients the main private equity funds and institutional investors in the market, as well as providing strategic consulting to corporations and associations.

Beyond the transaction environment, we help our clients generate value and drive growth through strategic and operational analysis of the markets in which they operate, advising management teams of companies in changing environments with the aim of seeking efficiencies in processes, structure, and business operations.

Our team consists of more than 100 professionals with extensive experience across different sectors and countries.

We are currently looking for a Manager to join the Operational Strategy team.

What you'll do

Management and leadership of transformation and operational optimization projects, focused on seeking efficiencies and their implementation, from the due diligence phase through to achieving operational improvements through a transformation program.
Operational diagnosis to identify areas for value creation in processes, systems, organization, and procedures that impact the profit and loss account. Covering different operational areas: Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement.
Conducting operational due diligence.
Communication and mobilization of different levels of the organization to analyze processes, implement concrete initiatives, and achieve their execution.

What do you need to know?

Ability to build relationships with clients, understand their objectives, challenges, and opportunities
Data analysis and solving complex problems in operational areas to identify improvements
Understanding of best practices and benchmarks to provide recommendations. Ability to conduct diagnoses based on analysis and observation.
Strategic analysis and planning skills
Ability to facilitate workshops and working sessions
Ability to support the execution of operational improvement and change management projects
Strong synthesis and communication skills, both verbal and written
