Requirements

What we're looking for

More than 6 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or Cloud architecture; at least 3 in architecture design.
Demonstrable experience of more than 4 years designing and operating environments in Azure (virtual networks, NSG, load balancers, governance, backup, high availability, landing zones).
Experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab).
Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID and Windows Server.
Knowledge of ITIL for infrastructure services management.
At least one current Azure certification at associate level or higher (AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400).
Intermediate English, for documentation and communication with vendors.
Degree in computer science or equivalent, or a higher vocational degree in systems administration with demonstrable experience.

Nice to have

Experience in AWS and associated certifications.
Hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Knowledge of containers (AKS, Docker).
Automation with PowerShell.
Experience in technical pre-sales or responding to tenders.
Previous experience in consultancies or managed service providers.

The role

At Logicalis Spain we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to grow our team.

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Logicalis Spain Cloud Architecture team, in a 100% remote position.

You will be the team's Azure expert: you will design architectures with Azure as the primary platform, complemented by OCI and AWS, lead workload migrations to the cloud, and serve as the technical reference in projects for top-tier clients.

What you'll do

Design architectures in Azure as the primary platform, and Multicloud solutions with OCI and AWS when the client requires it, aligned with the client's business and security needs.
Plan and execute migrations of on-premise workloads to the cloud, including dependency analysis and the definition of landing zones.
Provide architecture consultancy during pre-sales phases and in offers (RFP), including the review of technical requirements.
Define identity and access with Microsoft Entra ID: conditional access, roles, and federation.
Document solutions and transfer knowledge to the operations team and more junior profiles.
Act as the technical reference for the client and coordinate with the rest of the Logicalis teams.
