What we're looking for

We would like the person who joins us to be able to provide us with the following knowledge and skills:

Technical training in Cooking and Gastronomy/ Pastry and confectionery/ Bakery.
Knowledge of pastry decoration, high confectionery, international cuisine, dietetics, and allergens.
At least 2 years of experience in similar category positions in bakeries, 5* buffet services and/or à la carte restaurants.
Languages: High level of Spanish and English (B1) (Other languages are valuable).

Nice to have

Valuable specialized complementary training in culinary techniques, confectionery, and avant-garde products.
Valuable experience in event organization and management.

The role

At Lopesan, an important company in the Tourism Sector, we are starting a selection process for a section chef in the pastry area for one of our 5* hotels located in the south of Gran Canaria... and we want you to join us!

What you'll do

Perform food preparation and dessert making for the buffet service and à la carte restaurants, with the aim of offering customers and guests a menu with high levels of quality, contributing to achieving their satisfaction during their stay at the center, as well as properly performing the setup, replenishment, collection, and breakdown of the pastry section buffet.
