OHS Prevention and Awareness Assistant (M/F/X) OHS CONTROL AND AWARENESS ASSISTANT Safety and Prevention Campaign | Port of Valencia Are you passionate about occupational safety and want to be part of a project with real impact? We are looking for OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) Control and Awareness Assistants to collaborate on an awareness and safety campaign at the Port of Valencia. Your mission will be to help create safer working environments, promoting preventive best practices and contributing to the reduction of workplace accidents. 🎯 What will your mission be? You will carry out daily rounds through the various terminals and docks of the port to observe, inform, and encourage safe behaviors among workers. 🔍 Your functions will include: ✅ Carrying out visual inspections and preventive observations in the field. ✅ Verifying the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). ✅ Checking compliance with established safety regulations. ✅ Detecting risk situations and unsafe behaviors. ✅ Promoting preventive best practices and reinforcing the safety culture. ✅ Informing and raising awareness among workers regarding occupational risks. ✅ Recording observations and incidents through checklists and daily reports. ✅ Communicating relevant incidents to the campaign manager. ✅ Collaborating in awareness actions and preventive follow-up. ✅ Participating in the collection of safety data and indicators. 👤 What are we looking for? Valuable experience Experience as an operator, control assistant, or operational supervisor. Experience in: Logistics, Industrial, or Port environments; Warehouses or distribution centers. Basic knowledge of occupational safety and the use of PPE. Essential requirements ✔ Driving license B. ✔ Own vehicle. ✔ Availability to travel between different operational areas of the Port of Valencia. ✔ Good communication skills and an orientation toward interacting with people. Highly valued ⭐ Training in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). ⭐ Experience in preventive observation campaigns. ⭐ Knowledge or experience in industrial or port safety. 💼 What do we offer? 📅 Contract Temporary contract of 2 weeks, with the possibility of extension. 🕒 Schedule: availability in the morning and afternoon, within the following time range: 08:00 to 20:00 hs. 💰 Remuneration €300 gross per month per contract, and in the event of attendance, worked hours are paid at €10.10. Mileage allowance: €0.21/km for travel carried out during work activities. 📍 Workplace Port of Valencia Continuous travel through terminals, docks, and different operational areas of the port complex.
