Food Quality and Safety (M/F/X) At Manpower, we are looking for a Food Quality and Safety Manager to join a major company in the food sector located in Alicante. This is a strategic position with a strong focus on food safety, quality management systems, and audit leadership, serving as the point of reference for certification bodies, customers, and competent authorities. We are looking for a person with great organizational capacity, accustomed to managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in high-demand environments, with leadership skills and a marked orientation toward results. Job Mission To guarantee compliance with the highest standards of food quality and safety, leading the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of management systems, as well as the preparation for and successful completion of internal, external, and certification audits, ensuring the company's operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Main Functions To lead the company's Food Quality and Safety Management System. To guarantee compliance with current legislation and the requirements of customers and certification bodies. To manage and maintain IFS, BRC, ISO 9001, and other applicable certifications and standards. To plan, coordinate, and lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits. To act as the primary interlocutor with auditors, certification bodies, and health authorities. To define, implement, and supervise HACCP, Food Defense, and Food Fraud plans. To manage non-conformities, complaints, and quality incidents, ensuring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. To supervise product traceability and quality controls at the plant. To analyze quality indicators and develop continuous improvement plans. To coordinate the approval and evaluation of suppliers. To provide internal training and awareness regarding food quality and safety. Requirements University degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Agri-food Engineering, or similar. Experience in similar positions within the food sector. Solid experience leading IFS, BRC, and other GFSI standards audits. Advanced knowledge of HACCP, Food Defense, Food Fraud, and food regulations. Experience managing teams and continuous improvement projects is valued. Medium-high level of IT tools and management systems. Medium-high level of English is valued. We Offer Stable incorporation into a leading company in the food sector.
