What we're looking for

You are the ideal candidate if...

· You have a university degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related degrees.

· You bring previous experience in quality departments within the food industry, preferably in packaging, food, or consumer goods companies.

· You have knowledge of food regulations, labeling, traceability, and legal requirements applicable to products marketed in different markets.

· You are familiar with quality and food safety management systems, with experience in standards such as IFS Food, BRCGS Food Safety, HACCP, and management systems based on ISO 22000 being especially valued.

· You have the ability to interpret international regulatory requirements and coordinate with departments such as Legal, Marketing, and Production.

· You have experience in coordinating technical teams, organizational capacity, and attention to detail.

· You stand out for your autonomy, analytical capacity, communication, and orientation toward continuous improvement.

· You reside in Granada or the surrounding areas and have availability to work in person.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a consolidated company in the agri-food sector, specializing in the packaging and marketing of vegetable oils, in the search for a Quality Manager for its facilities in Granada.

If you have experience in food quality, you are passionate about guaranteeing product compliance and you want to be part of an industrial environment with international projection... we are looking for you!

What you'll do

· Lead the quality management of the finished product, ensuring it meets the technical, legal, and commercial requirements demanded in each destination market.

· Supervise the compliance of packaging, labeling, packaging materials, and product presentation, ensuring they meet the established specifications.

· Verify compliance with food regulations applicable to different international markets, coordinating with the Legal and Marketing departments to adapt products to the specific requirements of each country.

· Manage and keep up to date the technical documentation of the product, technical data sheets, quality specifications, and labeling requirements.

· Coordinate the management of non-conformities, claims, and quality incidents, driving the definition and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

· Participate in internal and external audits, as well as in the maintenance and improvement of quality and food safety management systems.

· Supervise, organize, and develop the technical quality team, consisting of two people, promoting continuous improvement and process efficiency.

· Collaborate with the various departments of the company to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the entire production and marketing chain.
