What you'll do

1. Cross-cutting architecture and standards

Define and maintain common frontend architecture standards across all products (project structure, component patterns, state management, naming conventions, linters, etc.).

Decide and govern the common technology stack (or justified variations per product), avoiding unnecessary technological fragmentation across teams.

Promote the creation and maintenance of a shared component library/design system across products, to avoid reinvention by each team.

2. Technical quality

Establish minimum quality criteria (test coverage, code review, performance, accessibility) applicable to all products.

Conduct periodic reviews (technical audits) of each product's frontend, especially those with weaker frontend leadership, to detect technical debt or bad practices before they escalate.

Define the cross-cutting code review process (or at least key checkpoints) when the product lead does not have sufficient seniority to guarantee it on their own.

3. Cross-product coordination

Synchronize frontend leads from each product in a forum (e.g., biweekly technical committee) to share decisions, common problems, and solutions already implemented in other products.

Detect synergies and avoid duplication of effort across products (e.g., two teams solving the same problem in different ways).

Act as an escalation point when a product lead cannot resolve a complex technical problem on their own.

4. Mentoring and leveling up frontend product leads

Identify seniority or knowledge gaps in frontend product leads, and define a specific mentoring or accompaniment plan (pairing, more frequent reviews, targeted training).

Evaluate (or provide structured feedback to each product's managers) on the technical performance of frontend leads, to support talent management.

5. Cross-cutting technical roadmap

Define the roadmap for common technological evolution (migrations, major version upgrades, adoption of new tools) and coordinate its coherent rollout across products, avoiding each team moving "at its own pace" without any common criteria.

Prioritize, together with product leads, which cross-cutting technical debt should be addressed first, based on impact and risk.

6. Liaison with business/global architecture

Represent the technical vision of the BackOffice frontend before company architecture, project management, or the client, when a consolidated view beyond a single product is required.

Validate that product decisions (new features, integrations) do not generate inconsistencies or technical risks at a cross-cutting level.
