Technical Buyer (Electrical Materials and Technical Services)

We are PAUL MARLEX, working with one of the leading manufacturers of minibuses in Europe, with production plants in Spain and Romania, and our own commercial offices in France and Italy; we are currently undergoing a strategic transformation process, and for this reason we need to hire a TECHNICAL BUYER with experience in purchasingelectrical materials and technical services.

As part of the Purchasing and Supply Department, and working with full autonomy but as part of a consolidated team, the main tasks of the selected candidate, directly related to the purchasing of direct materials, indirect materials, and technical services, will be defined in two areas of action:

• Identify the technical needs of the product, in coordination with the Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality departments.
• Review and understand the technical specifications, drawings, and manuals of the products to be purchased, ensuring the technical quality of the components.
• Request, evaluate, and negotiate quotations with suppliers, according to the strategy defined for the family to which the component subject to purchase/supply belongs.
• Directly negotiate with suppliers the commercial conditions of the relationship (price, productivity, Incoterm, safety stock, etc.), taking into account current regulations and the certifications that suppliers must have in order to pass the supplier qualification process.
• Once the supplier is qualified, follow up on the product industrialization process, ensuring the purchasing launch with suppliers in terms of price, quality, and availability.

Regarding the management of purchasing processes for products in the assigned families:

• Define the purchasing strategy for the assigned material families: market analysis to identify service opportunities, cost structure analysis of the products to be purchased, and develop the network of qualified suppliers.
• Ensure the technical quality of the components to be purchased, with the aim of contributing to the efficiency and productivity of the company.
• Ensure the supply service level, including after-sales service and spare parts from suppliers, detecting any possible incidents and/or issues related to the quality and supply of products that may arise.

You are the ideal candidate if...

• You have technical training, preferably in Engineering, and you value complementary training in purchasing management and/or supply chain.
• You have 5 years of experience in a similar position, in an industrial environment, leading purchasing and supply processes, being accustomed to interpreting drawings and technical specifications of products, and having participated in/led supplier qualification processes.
• You have experience in managing purchasing processes by family or by category, especially experience as a technical buyer of direct materials and electrical components.
• You are accustomed to working with industrial design tools and software, and with ERP systems.
• You are available to travel and have a command of the English language.

Des de PAUL MARLEX col.laborem amb un dels fabricants de referència a nivell europeu de minibusos, amb plantes productives a Espanya i Romania, i amb delegacions comercials pròpies a França i Itàlia; actualment es troba immersa en un procés de transformació estratègica, i per aquest motiu precisen incorporar un/a COMPRADOR/A TÈCNIC/A que aporti experiència en la compra dematerial elèctric i serveis tècnics.

Formant part del Dep. de Compres i Aprovisionament, i treballant amb total autonomia però formant part d'un equip consolidat, les tasques principals de la persona seleccionada, relacionades directament amb la compra de material directe, material indirecte i serveis tècnics, seran, definides en dues àrees d'actuació:

• Identificar les necessitats tècniques del producte, en coordinació amb les àrees d'Enginyeria de Procés i de Producte, i Qualitat.
• Revisar i comprendre les especificacions tècniques, els plànols i els manuals dels productes a adquirir, assegurant la qualitat tècnica dels components.
• Sol·licitar, avaluar i negociar les cotitzacions amb els proveïdors, segons l'estratègia definida per la família de la qual forma part el component subjecte de compra/aprovisionament.
• Negociar directament amb els proveïdores les condicions comercials de la relació (preu, productivitat, Incoterm, estoc de seguretat,...), tenint en compte les normatives actuals i les certificacions necessàries amb les quals han de comptar els proveïdors, per tal de superar el procés d'homologació per part del proveïdor.
• Un cop homologat el proveïdor, seguir el procés d'industrialització dels productes, assegurant-ne el llançament de compra a proveïdors en preu, qualitat i disponibilitat.

En relació a la gestió dels processos de compra dels productes de les famílies assignades:

• Definir l'estratègia de compra de les famílies de materials assignades: anàlisi de mercat per identificar oportunitats de servei, anàlisi de l'estructura de costos dels productes a comprar, i desenvolupar la xarxa de proveïdors homologats.
• Assegurar la qualitat tècnica dels components a comprar, amb l'objectiu de contribuir a l'eficiència i la productivitat de l'empresa.
• Assegurar el nivell de servei de subministrament, incloent servei de post-venta i aftermarket per part dels proveïdores, detectant les possibles incidències i/o problemes en relació a la qualitat i l'aprovisionament dels productes que puguin sorgir.

Ets el/la candidat/a ideal si...

• Comptes amb formació tècnica, preferiblement en d'Enginyeria, valorant-se aportar formació complementària en gestió de compres i/o cadena de subministrament.
• Aportes 5 anys d'experiència en un lloc de similars característiques, en entorn industrial, liderant processos de compra i aprovisionament, estant habituat/da a la interpretació de plànols i especificacions tècniques de producte, i havent participat/liderat processos d'homologació de proveïdors.
• Comptes amb experiència en gestionar processos de compra per famílies o per categories, sobretot experiència com a comprador/a tècnic/a de material directe i components elèctrics.
• Estàs acostumat/a a treballar amb eines i software de disseny industrial, i amb ERP.
• Tens disponibilitat per viatjar i domines la llengua anglesa.
