Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or similar.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and/or Credit Management positions.
Demonstrable experience performing monthly and annual accounting closings.
Solid knowledge of financial accounting and taxation.
Experience in client risk management and debt collection.
Proficiency in office tools, especially Excel, and management ERP.
Analytical capacity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Languages

Fluent Catalan and Spanish. English is valued.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a company located in the Sant Celoni area that needs to hire an Accountant and Credit Manager to reinforce its finance department.

The selected person will be responsible for managing client credit, accounting control, and active participation in monthly and annual closing processes, guaranteeing the reliability of financial information and the correct management of collection risk.

Your mission will be to ensure efficient management of client credit and collections, as well as to participate in the general accounting management of the company, contributing to closing processes, financial reporting, and internal control.

What you'll do

Manage and supervise credit granted to clients and analyze financial risk.
Manage incidents related to collections and client account reconciliations.
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes.
Prepare and record accounting entries.
Perform bank reconciliations and accounting account reconciliations.
Provide support in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Management of subsidiaries as a responsible person.
Collaborate in external audits and internal control processes.
Ensure compliance with the company's tax and accounting obligations.
Participate in the continuous improvement of financial and administrative processes.
