Job Profile: Health and Safety Coordinator for Building Construction

Plan, coordinate, and supervise the application of general prevention and safety principles during construction execution, ensuring compliance with current Health and Safety regulations, as well as the proper integration of prevention in all construction processes.

What you'll do

1. Drafting the Safety and Health Study during the project phase, based on the technical characteristics of the works, their schedule, and the planned construction procedures. (CATEB endorsement of the SHS)

2. Health and Safety Coordination on site (CATEB endorsement of the designation record and completion of the CSS)

oCoordinating the application of general prevention principles during construction execution.

oEnabling and completing the site incidents log book.

oApproving and verifying the Safety and Health Plan prepared by the contractor.

oOrganizing the coordination of business activities among the different parties involved on site.

Includes supervision and control on site:

oMonitoring compliance with the preventive measures established in the Safety and Health Plan.

oDetecting risk conditions and proposing immediate corrective measures.

oCarrying out periodic site inspection visits.
