Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar.
Between 4 and 5 years of experience in accounting, controlling, or financial planning.
Previous experience in auditing within international environments.
Solid knowledge of balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow.
Experience in monthly closings and financial reporting.
Advanced level of Excel.
Experience with financial ERPs such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or Navision.
High level of English.

Nice to have

Experience with purchasing tools such as COUPA is valued.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a leading multinational company to recruit a Finance Controller (temporary) in Barcelona. This is a strategic position that will act as the right hand to the Financial Management, actively participating in financial control, corporate reporting, and business decision-making.

What you'll do

Manage financial reporting and monthly closings for the assigned business units.
Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and external reporting requirements.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Analyze balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow.
Monitor KPIs, budget variances, and financial forecasts.
Participate in internal control and process improvement projects.
Collaborate closely with the Treasury, Tax, Legal, Purchasing, and Human Resources areas.
Participate in the management of intercompany operations.
