The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an important company in the construction sector, specialized in civil and industrial projects, which is looking to hire a Cost Controller to take over the economic-financial control and budgetary monitoring of its projects.

What you'll do

Perform the economic monitoring of projects, controlling costs and budgetary deviations to contribute to profitability, resource optimization, and decision-making.

Budgetary Control: Perform the monitoring of the construction budget against actual execution costs, identifying deviations and possible economic risks.
Cost and Profitability Analysis: Analyze costs, margins, and economic results, proposing measures to optimize resources and improve project profitability.
Budgetary Revision: Participate in construction re-studies and budget revisions, updating economic forecasts.
Site Monitoring: Coordinate with the Site Manager and the production team to perform the economic monitoring of the projects.
Contractual Control: Analyze construction, subcontracting, and supplier contracts, evaluating the economic impact of prices, penalties, milestones, and other contractual conditions.
