Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar position, with involvement in BIW component development projects for the automotive sector.
Software: Proficiency in CATIA V5, Siemens NX is a plus.
Experience in applying client specifications and automotive manufacturer (OEM) design standards.
Languages: Minimum B2 English level, with the ability to participate in technical meetings and work with international teams.
Soft Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and negotiation skills, teamwork orientation, organization, and autonomy to coordinate activities and meet project deadlines and objectives.

The role

Product Engineer (BIW)

What you'll do

Design and develop BIW components using CATIA V5, complying with the client's technical specifications and the project's quality standards.
Generate and maintain 3D documentation and 2D drawings, ensuring the parameterization of models and compliance with applicable design standards.
Analyze the technical feasibility of the product and its manufacturing process, coordinating the necessary simulations and analyses to validate the proposed solutions.
Prepare technical feasibility reports and identify opportunities for design improvement.
Participate in technical meetings with the team or clients to review progress, resolve incidents, and agree on design solutions.
Manage and follow up on the List of Open Points (LOP), driving the resolution of incidents and the closure of actions.
Use internal project management tools and methodologies to track deliverables, deadlines, and design modifications.

How you'll work

Location: Martorell, with availability to travel to clients in the province of Barcelona (100% on-site)
