Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Education: Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training (FP) in mechanical manufacturing, welding, or similar.
  • NDT Certification: Level I or II in one of the following methods: VT, PT, MT, RT, or UT, accredited by CERTIAEND / EN ISO 9712. (VT / PT Level 1 required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inspection or quality control in aluminum welding.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and welding symbology.
  • Proficiency in office tools and quality management software.
  • Own vehicle

Nice to have

  • Valuable: Training or experience in ISO 3834, EN ISO 5817, and 3D dimensional control; knowledge of the EN 15085 standard and welding process control.

The role

What you'll do

  • Perform visual inspections and NDT methods (VT, PT) on aluminum welds.
  • Dimensional control and verification of drawings and technical instructions.
  • Validation and monitoring of welders and qualified procedures (WPQR, WPS).
  • Issuance of inspection reports and non-conformities.
  • Participation in internal and external quality audits.
  • Collaborate with the Production Department to improve welding processes.
  • Compliance with EN 15085-2 CL1/CL2 regulations and standards of customers in the Railway sector.
