Requirements

What we're looking for

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or similar.

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of quality systems (ISO, FSSC or similar).

• Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD.

• Methodical, decisive, organized profile with a capacity for learning.

Nice to have

• Experience in the food sector or packaging.

• Experience with FSSC 22000.

• Participation in industrial plant design or expansion projects.

• Experience in the acquisition and implementation of machinery.

• Knowledge of continuous improvement and process optimization.

The role

From Paul Marlex we are collaborating with an industrial company in a phase of growth and transformation, seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to join the Operations team.

Provide technical support to the Operations Management team in the continuous improvement of production processes, quality, maintenance, and planning, actively participating in the company's growth and transformation projects.

What you'll do

• Design and implement the plant quality system (FSSC 22000).

• Supervise and improve the preventive maintenance of machinery and facilities.

• Participate in the design of the new factory layout.

• Manage and monitor production planning.

• Provide technical support in the acquisition and implementation of new machinery.

• Identify and implement improvements in production processes.

• Prepare and monitor operational KPIs and indicators.
