Requirements

What we're looking for

• Degree in Food Science and Technology (CTA) or a university degree in a scientific-technical field, or similar.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position in an industrial environment.

• Knowledge of continuous improvement, control systems (PLC, SCADA), and automated packaging lines.

• You are a proactive person with initiative, methodical, organized, results-oriented, and skilled in customer relations, resourceful, eager to learn, detail-oriented, with a global and cross-functional vision, capable of leading and managing a team, dynamic, flexible, versatile, responsible, and committed to company goals.

Nice to have

• A Master's degree in Production Organization and Engineering or Industrial Plant Management is valued.

• Experience in team management is valued.

At Marlex, we are collaborating with an important company specialized in manufacturing food products, in the search for a PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGER for their facility located in the Vallès Occidental area.

What you'll do

• Direct and coordinate the production team during the shift, ensuring daily goals are met.

• Supervise production processes to guarantee quality, productivity, and compliance with procedures.

• Plan and control the production schedule, resolving any issues that arise during the shift.

• Manage manufacturing orders, production records, and batch traceability.

• Train and supervise the team in operational procedures, quality, and good manufacturing practices.

• Control manufacturing and packaging parameters, validating completed production runs.

• Analyze and manage non-conformities, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
