What we're looking for

You are the ideal candidate if...

You have a Degree or Bachelor's in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, or a similar qualification, or a related CFGS (Administration and Finance or similar).
You have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in a management office and/or consultancy in equivalent tasks. Experience coming from an end-user company will also be valued, provided it has involved taxation tasks.
You have solid knowledge of corporate and individual taxation, mainly VAT and IRPF; experience with Summar software will be valued.
You are an autonomous, rigorous, organized person with good communication skills.
You reside in Pla de l'Estany or the surrounding area.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we collaborate with an important and renowned tax and labor consultancy located in Banyoles, with an extensive track record in the province of Girona to offer a comprehensive, rigorous, and personalized service to its clients. They are currently looking to incorporate a TAX ADVISOR to reinforce their tax department.

What you'll do

You will join a tax team composed of 4 people (the department manager and 3 other professionals). Reporting directly to the department manager, and with a wide margin of autonomy, you will be responsible for carrying out the following tasks:

You will provide personalized advice and daily management of the assigned client portfolio, maintaining a close and continuous relationship to understand their situation and needs.
You will be in charge of the study, preparation, and planning of the tax strategy for companies and individuals, focusing mainly on VAT and IRPF, to minimize and optimize the tax impact for clients.
You will manage, review, and submit the corresponding official self-assessment forms.
You will interpret and apply current tax regulations, staying updated on legislative changes to guarantee rigorous advice.
You will collaborate in the resolution of inspections, handling of requirements, and the filing of appeals before the Tax Administration.
You will coordinate with the accounting, legal, and labor teams of the firm to guarantee comprehensive advice to clients.
